Advil Earl Abbott

Advil Earl Abbott, age 76, of Mathiston, Mississippi passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. Earl was born on January 12, 1949, in Calhoun County, Mississippi to Clifton David Abbott and Ouida Mae Bevill Abbott and was a retired farmer and machinist. Mr. Abbott is survived by his daughter, Angel Abbott (Shawn) Morris of Eupora, Mississippi and son, Clifton (Michelle) Abbott of Mantee, Mississippi; five grandchildren, J.J. Awtry, C.J. Abbott, Hannah Abbott, Brooke Morris and Grace Abbott and one great grandchild, Maisie Awtry. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Sara Perrigan Abbott; both parents, Clifton David Abbott and Ouida Mae Bevill Abbott; two sisters, Joyce Perrigan and Rose Palmertree and one daughter-in-law, Tammy Abbott. Funeral Services for Mr. Earl will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. Interment will be held at Clarkson Cemetery in Webster County, Mississippi. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Clarkson Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM and on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 1:00PM until time for services at 3:00PM at Oliver Funeral Home. Bro. Scott McBride and Bro. Charles Lee White will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be J.J. Awtry, Austin Cunningham, Glen Cunningham, Hunter Cunningham, Aaron Hollis and Wayne Nickels. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to be entrusted with all arrangements for the Abbott family.
