Alan Turner

Roger Alan Turner, Jr., age 60, of Eupora, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday morning, October 31, 2026, at Diversicare in Eupora. Alan was born on July 11, 1966, in Marshall, Texas to the late Roger Alan Turner, Sr. and Barbara Gayle Lackey Turner. Alan was a 1985 graduate of Eupora High School in Eupora, Mississippi, served in the United States Navy and later a Paper Mill Worker. He enjoyed coaching softball and soccer, golfing and was an avid Mississippi State University Bulldog fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren whom he adored and spoiled every chance he got. Alan is survived by his children, Roger (Mallory) Turner, Garrett (Angelia) Turner, Cole (Selby) Turner, Macye Jones and Keesler Griffin; grandchildren, Alan Turner IV, Braxton Turner, Stella Pettit, Skyler Turner, Carson Turner, Paisley Turner, Amiyah Turner, Olivia Turner and Emmett Turner; sisters, Penny (Trent) Harrison, Connie Odom and Lisa (Nic) Turner Tartt and brother, Andy (Kim) Turner. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger Alan Turner, Sr. and Barbara Gayle Lackey Turner and grandson, Rowdy Turner. A private Memorial Service for Alan will be held by the family at a later date. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to be entrusted with all arrangements for the Turner family.
