Bridgett Dawn Gregory Ainsworth

Bridgett Dawn Gregory Ainsworth age 64 of Jackson, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Bridgett was born on June 12, 1963, in Jackson, Mississippi to George E. Gregory and Dean Perkins Gregory. She attended Magnolia Academy in Jackson, Mississippi. While living in Houston, Texas for several years, she worked for American Express. Bridgett loved to laugh and talk about good times, cook and tending to her flowers. She absolutely loved dogs and would help any stray she saw. Bridgett is survived by her sister, Brenda (Jimmy) Stringer; brother, Greg Gregory; three nieces, Meredith Robinson, Lauren Dawson, and Victoria Thompson; two nephews, Phillip Gregory and Trey Gregory along with three great nieces and six great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George E. Gregory and Dean Perkins Gregory and her daughter Natasha Dawn Dewberry. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. Interment will follow at Clarkson Cemetery in Webster County, Mississippi. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Clarkson Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 10:00AM until time for Services at 11:00AM at Oliver Funeral Home. The family would like to thank her care team for the care she received this past year at UMMC. With special thanks for the care she received from Dr. Logan Powell, Rachel Black, Tara Haynes and Riley Dew this last week and the compassion they showed us during this time of transition.
