Clyde Alvin Triplett, Jr.

Clyde Alvin Triplett, Jr. age 71 of Eupora, Mississippi passed away at his residence on Thursday evening, July 9, 2026, surrounded by his family. Clyde was born on October 23, 1954, in Leland, Mississippi to the late Clyde Alvin Triplett, Sr. and Lena Mae Merchant. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Duck Hill, Mississippi a Mason and a retired truck driver for Morrison Sterling Oil Company and Delta Terminal. Clyde is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Atkins Johnson Triplett of Eupora, Mississippi; one daughter, Teresa (Mike) Johnson; two sons, Greg Johnson and Chad (Bridgette) Johnson all of Mathiston, Mississippi; two brothers, Robert Lance (Cindy) of Greenville, Mississippi and David (Carolyn) Huddleston of Leland, Mississippi; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Alvin Triplett, Sr. and Lena Mae Merchant Triplett; a stepdaughter, Susan Johnson and his grand dog, Bailey. Funeral Services for Mr. Clyde will be held at 12Noon on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of Visitation on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 11:00AM until time for Services at 12Noon at Oliver Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Maben Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Maben, Mississippi. The Graveside/Committal Services with Masonic Rites will all be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Maben Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Bro. David Huddleston will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Chad Johnson, Greg Johnson, Lance Triplett, William Quinn and David Huddleston, Jr. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to be entrusted with all arrangements for the Triplett family.
