Crystal Marie Norwood Reed

Crystal Marie Norwood Reed, age 64, of Maben, Mississippi, peacefully passed away at her residence on Tuesday evening, June 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of the family she cherished so deeply. Crystal was born in Maben on May 4, 1962, to the late Bonner Lee Norwood and Kathleen White Norwood. For many years, she was a familiar, welcoming face in the community as a retired cosmetologist and the proud owner of Mane Attractions Hair Salon. She was also a dedicated member of the Eupora Church of Christ. While Crystal built a successful business, her true life’s work and greatest joy was her family. 

Crystal wanted nothing more in this world than to be surrounded by the ones she loved. She spent forty-seven beautiful years building a life alongside her loving husband, Keith, for whom she held immense pride. Her three boys and her eleven grandchildren were the absolute center of her universe. Crystal looked forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas with an unmatched anticipation, not for the holidays themselves, but because they meant her entire world would be gathered under one roof, sharing laughter, love, and making memories. Her legacy of fierce love and devotion will live on in the hearts of her family forever. Beyond the warmth of her home, some of Crystal’s happiest moments were spent chasing the open road and the great outdoors alongside Keith. Together, they made countless memories on the back of a Harley Davidson and packed up for countless camping trips. These journeys weren’t just about the destinations, but about the incredible community they found along the way. She deeply cherished the lifelong friends they made along the way, and the shared miles, campfire stories, and laughter with the people she loved meant the world to her.

Crystal is survived by her loving husband of forty-seven years, Keith Reed of Maben, Mississippi; three sons, Dennis (Lana) Reed of Cumberland, Mississippi, Josh (Teela) Reed of Maben, Mississippi, and Austin (Jordan) Reed of Maben, Mississippi; one brother, Ken (Leslie) Norwood of Maben, Mississippi; and eleven adored grandchildren who brought her endless joy: Parker (Curtlyn) Reed, Hallie Beth (Luke) McKee, Hayz Reed, Austin Crowley, Dagen Crowley, Vallie Kate Reed, Zaxton Reed, Emma Crowley, Kenlynn Reed, Peyton Gray Reed, and Henderson Reed. She is also survived by a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. She was reunited in heaven by her parents, Bonner Lee Norwood and Kathleen White Norwood, and one brother, James Bonner Norwood.

Funeral Services for Crystal will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 12Noon until time for services at 2:00PM at Oliver Funeral Home. Interment will follow the services at Maben Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Maben Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Rev. John Foles will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Carson Norwood, Taylor Norwood, Max Schoolar, Luke McKee, Phillip Reed, Caine Adams and Zaxton Reed.
