Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Beardain Forbes

Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Beardain Forbes age 70, passed away peacefully at North Mississippi Medical Center Long Term Care Unit in Eupora, Mississippi on Sunday, December 21, 2025. Cindy was born in Memphis, Tennessee on January 4, 1955, to the late Bro. Daniel Shuford Beardain and Linnie Hodges Beardain. Her family and friends remember her as one of the kindest and sweetest people and says she never met a stranger. Cindy loved her husband and family and enjoyed caring for them even babysitting many of her nieces and nephews until her health failed. Cindy was a member of the Church of Christ. She was also well known for her banana pudding, fried deer meat and enjoyed watching westerns and the Andy Griffith Show on Television. Mrs. Forbes is survived by her loving husband, Melton Forbes of Eupora, Mississippi; two brothers, David (Brenda) Beardain and Roger (Brenda) Beardain and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Bro. Daniel Shuford Beardain and Linnie Hodges Beardain. Funeral Services for Cindy will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 11:00AM at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 10:00AM until time for services at 11:00AM at Oliver Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greensboro Cemetery in Webster County, Mississippi. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Greensboro Cemetery. Bro. Paul Mowrer will officiate the services. Cindy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
