Funeral Services will be held 4:00PM Tuesday 4/18/23 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greensboro Cemetery in Webster County, MS. Visitation will be 2:00PM until 4:00PM Tuesday 4/18/23 at Oliver Funeral Home. Delphia Jeannette Jones Clay, 78, died 4/14/23 at North MS Medical Center in Eupora, Ms. Funeral Services were held 4:00PM Tuesday 4/18/23 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greensboro Cemetery in Webster County, MS. Rev. Don Parish officiated. Pallbearers were; Matt Fulgham, Andy Duvall, Nelson Dean, Tristan Moulton, John Hurley and Payton Copley. She was preceded in death by her parents; James and Gervis Box Jones, her sister; Ann Miller, and two nephews; Jim Fulgham and Lance Duvall. Mrs. Jeannette is survived by her husband of fifty nine years; Forrest Clay Jr., Eupora, MS, her son; David L. (Diane) Clay, Jakin, GA, her sister; Sandra (Butch) Duvall, Carrollton, MS, her granddaughter; Chastity Draper, two great grandsons; Tristan Moulton and John Hurley and her great great grandson; Silas Moulton and several nieces and nephews. Jeannette was a life long member of Tomnolen Baptist Church, She worked most of her life as a caregiver at North Mississippi Medical Center and private homecare. She was born 11/1/44 to James L. Jones and Gervis Box Jones. She loved reading magazines and cookbooks and watching wildlife.
