Joyce Marie Cummings

Joyce Marie Cummings, age 80, of Eupora, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, Mississippi. Joyce was born on December 1, 1940, in Lufkin, Texas to the late Robert Frank Ginn and Hazel Grimes Ginn. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crochet, needlepoint, mowing her lawn, reading and enjoyed watching her hummingbirds. Joyce is survived by her daughter, Carole Lynette Martin of Hitchcock, Texas and son, Robert C. Cummings of Eupora, Mississippi; four grandchildren, James Cummings, Robert "Bubba" (Jamie) Martin, Jr., Brittany Cummings and Taylor Martin and nine great grandchildren. Her husband, Talmadge C. Cummings and parents, Robert Frank and Hazel Grimes Ginn preceded her in death. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and will be announced soon. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, all donations made in Joyce's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
