Margie Mae White "Granny" Trull

Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, 1/17/24 at Harmony Free Will Baptist Church in Webster County MS with burial in the Church Cemetery. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Harmony Free Will Baptist Church instead of the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Noon until 2:00PM Wednesday 1/17/24 at Harmony Free Will Baptist Church. Margie Mae (White) Trull , known by her family and friends as Granny, transitioned peacefully to her heavenly home on Sunday morning January 14, 2024. She was 91. Born on January 25, 1932 to Charlie and Lottie Mae White in Webster County Mississippi, Margie was the youngest of 11 children. She was a graduate of Eupora High School, class of 1950. She spent most of her life in Eupora except for some brief time spent in Greenville, Ms and Houston Texas. Granny’s first love was Jesus. She loved reading her Bible, witnessing to people, and was one of the greatest prayer warriors this side of Heaven. Granny was a charter member of Harmony FreeWill Baptist Church where she was a dedicated Sunday School teacher, and the Church treasurer for thirty years. Her second love was her family. She loved family gatherings especially Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. She loved working in her vegetable garden in the summer time, and sharing those vegetables with family and friends. She was a beautiful seamstress, and owned a fabric shop for a period of time. Her sisters Cecil Hooper, Estelle Rodgers, Naomi Brown, Lorene Lucius, Earlene Lucius, Monette Nations and her brothers Haze White, Porter White, Willis White , and Nelson White all preceded her in death. On June 17,1950 she married her high school sweetheart, Billy Trull. They were married for 61 years, before Billy’s death in 2009. Her three children are Patricia ( Robbie) Cummings, Danny (Tonya) Trull, Billy Michael (Nell) Trull. Granny is also survived by her grandchildren, Diana Fondren, Jenny ( John ) Hatcher, Keith Trull, Marie (Johnny) Haddon, Lisa ( Jason) Laufenburg, and Bill Trull ; her great grandchildren, Chase ( Chelsea) Fondren, Brooke ( Curt) Jordan, Bailey Fondren, Justin ( Jordan) Hatcher, Jon Austin ( Morgan) Hatcher, Noah Hatcher, Haley Hatcher, Jadie ( Joc) Justice, Tristen Laufenburg, Michael Hunter Trull, Caleb Trull, Christian Trull, Shane ( Kaley) Givens, Ethan ( Brittany) Haddon, and Michael Haddon; her great-great grandchildren, Kaylie Fondren, Kayden Fondren, Bear Jordan, Bowman Hatcher, Banner Hatcher, Zack Trull, Dorothy Jean Trull, Preslee Haddon, Denim Givens and Dakota Givens. She is preceded in death by her grandson-in-law Shawn Fondren and great grandson, Kemp Haddon. Granny’s family would like to give a heartfelt “Thank You” in recognition to her special caretaker, Nikki McComb. We love you Nikki. Celebration of life services are Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Harmony FreeWill Baptist Church, Eupora, Ms. Visitation will be from 12 noon until 2 P.M. Services will be at 2 P.M. Bro. Billy M. Trull, Bro. Larry Reynolds, and Bro. Travis House will officiate. Special music will be provided by Brooke Jordan and Bro. Larry Reynolds. Pallbearers are Chase Fondren, Justin Hatcher, Jon Austin Hatcher, Noah Hatcher, Ethan Haddon, Michael Hunter Trull, Caleb Trull, Christian Trull, and Shane Givens. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is in charge of all arrangements.
