Marlyn "Molly" Lou Dewberry Kinard

Marlyn "Molly" Lou Kinard, age 78 of Maben, Mississippi passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. Molly was born on January 30, 1948, in Maben, Mississippi to the late Arthur "Junior" Wesley Dewberry, Jr. and Georgia "Nancy" Inez Nickels Dewberry. She was a Cosmetologist by trade for sixty years owning, operating and teaching hair design at College of Cosmetology in Columbus, Mississippi. Molly also started the Hair Pin and later Molly's Beauty Shop both in Maben, Mississippi. Her family, grandchildren and grandchildren along with all of her many many friends were the light and joy of her life. She was also a member of Center Grove Baptist Church in Maben, Mississippi. Molly is survived by her loving husband of thirty-four years, Gary Kinard of Maben, Mississippi; two sons, Shannon (Ramona) Williams of Pheba, Mississippi and Jason (Casey) Williams of Maben, Mississippi; one sister, Karen (Philip) Williams of Maben, Mississippi; one brother, Danny Dewberry of Mathiston, Mississippi; ten grandchildren, Dusty Williams, Alva Kate Williams, Elijah Colt Williams, Gage Parker, Shey Vick, Taylor Vick, Jacob Harrison, Caleb Harrison, Stephanie Jones and Joseph Lee; four great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Junior Dewberry and Nancy Dewberry and one sister, Cathy Oswalt. Funeral Services for Molly will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 1:00PM at Center Grove Baptist Church in Maben, Mississippi. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation also on Monday, June 1, 2026, from 11:00AM until time for services at Center Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Maben, Mississippi. Rev. Don Parish and Rev. Thad Moore will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Molly's sons and grandsons. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to be entrusted with all arrangements for the Kinard family.
