Martha Elizabeth Rosamond Pittman, age 91, passed away Wednesday morning, September 2, 2026, at the North Mississippi Medical Center’s Long-Term Care Facility in Eupora, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, November 10, 1934, in Montgomery County Mississippi. Of seven children, Martha was the only girl born to her parents Floyd and Louise Rosamond. Martha was married to Clifford Earl Pittman for thirty-two years and together they raised a son Jesse and two daughters, Angila and Lesa.
Martha loved GOD and was a member of Calvary Chapel Church in Eupora, Mississippi. She was also a Life Member of Joe H. Morehead VFW Post 3806 Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Earl Pittman; daughter Lesa Ann Pittman Pate; parents, Floyd Alexander Rosamond and Louise Ferrell Rosamond; brothers, Pleas Ozell Rosamond, Everett Clifford Rosamond, Floyd Clinton Rosamond, James Hassel Rosamond, Frank Ellington Rosamond and Robert Leon (RL) Rosamond.
Martha is survived by her son, Jesse Bernard Pittman (Kathy) of Jacksonville, Florida; daughter, Angila Kay Beaver (Tim) of Valdosta, Georgia; son-in-law, Freddie Pate (Lesa) of Eupora, Mississippi; eight grandchildren, fourteen greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She had a generous soul and always enjoyed gardening, helping people and visiting with her family.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Martha will be held at 12Noon on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Calvary Chapel Church in Eupora, Mississippi. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of Visitation also on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 11:00AM until time for Services at 12Noon at Calvary Chapel. Interment will follow at Webster Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Eupora, Mississippi. All Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Calvary Chapel instead of Webster Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pastor Luke Pogue will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be the brethren of Calvary Chapel Church. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to be entrusted with all arrangements for the Pittman family.
