Penelope B. Sheffield

We are sad to announce the passing of our mother, Penny Sheffield on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Westwood Nursing Center in Statesboro, Georgia. Mrs. Sheffield was born on January 4, 1939, and was 86 years old. Graveside Services will be held at 11:30AM on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Mount Nebo Cemetery in Choctaw County, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven years Jim A. Sheffield, Sr. and son Guy A. Sheffield. She is survived by her son Jim A. Sheffield, Jr.; two daughters, Alice and Kathie Sheffield; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was always a supportive wife and mother. She enjoyed her dogs and the time she spent with grandchildren either traveling or at Disney World and installing our love for education and hobbies. She will be missed by all her met her.
