Peter John Nikolaisen

Peter John Nikolaisen age 47, of Eupora, Mississippi passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi. Pete was born on January 23, 1979, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Matthew Jay Nikolaisen and Katherine Yvonne Mullins Borders. He was a retired factory worker and attended Soul's Haven Church in Eupora, Mississippi. Pete is survived by his wife, Amanda DePew Nikolaisen of Eupora, Mississippi; three daughters, Brittany (Larry) Lyles, Autumn Nikolaisen and Cassidy (Brandon) Hadley all of Eupora, Mississippi; his mother, Katherine Borders of Eupora, Mississippi; his father, Matthew Nikolaisen also of Eupora, Mississippi; three sisters, Elizabeth Jones, Allison (Erica) Nikolaisen and Kathryn (Kyle) Perry; two brothers, Steven (Antonia) Nikolaisen and Bradley (Emily) Nikolaisen; fourteen grandchildren, Krystina, Chaz, Charlotte, Francis, Nirvana, Nicholas, Lucas, Allison, Larry III, Irene, Maddi, Benny, Josey and Jordyn; a special niece, Reanna McKnatt and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded by a still born child; his maternal grandparents, Dale Mullins, Janelle Mullins and Francis Mullins; paternal grandparents, Arnie and Gayle Nikolaisen and two still born grandchildren. A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Pete will be held at a later date by the family. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to be entrusted with all arrangements.
