Phillip Deonetrius Johnson age 32 of Eupora, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. Phillip was born on October 31, 1993, in Starkville, Mississippi to Fiela Johnson and Jackqueline Starks Johnson. He was employed by Ingram Marine Group and Shipyard as a Deck Hand. Phillip leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Naeley Johnson; his mother, Jackqueline Starks Johnson; two sisters, Shaquila Johnson and Vionica Johnson; one brother, Joshua Johnson; maternal grandparents, Rev. Robert Earl Davis and Bettie Davis all of Eupora, Mississippi; paternal grandmother, Mary Johnson of Mantee, Mississippi and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Fiela Johnson and paternal grandfather, Archie Johnson. Funeral Services for Phillip will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at West Clay Elementary School Auditorium in Cedar Bluff, Mississippi. The family will receive friends and family for a time of visitation and viewing from 1:00PM until time for services at 2:00PM on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at West Clay Elementary School Auditorium. Interment will follow the services at New Hope Cemetery in Woodland, Mississippi. All Services along with Graveside/Committal Services will be held at West Clay Elementary School Auditorium instead of New Hope Cemetery. A Repast will be held following the services at Eupora Civic Center in Eupora, Mississippi. Rev. Robert Earl Davis will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Dre-Bobby McComb, Coty-Coty Patterson, Turtle-Tarvis Robinson, Q-Quintavious Morris, J-Shiesty-Jatavious Starks and Nana-Evin Hill.
