Priscilla Lynn Stricklin Edwards

Priscilla Lynn Stricklin Edwards, age 64, of Eupora, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family on Friday, October 30, 2026. Priscilla was born on March 12, 1962, in Choctaw County, Mississippi to the late William Vester Stricklin and Lonnie Georgia Keeton Stricklin-Sanders. She was a member of West Shady Grove Baptist Church in Webster County, Mississippi and a retired seamstress and cafeteria worker for East Webster Elementary School and Eupora High School in Webster County. Priscilla enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cross stitching, cooking for her family, watching her chickens, enjoyed her cat "Fuzzy" and loved each one of her cafeteria children. Priscilla is survived by her loving husband of forty-eight years, James William Edwards of Eupora, Mississippi; one daughter, Dana (Billy) Murphy of Ackerman, Mississippi; two sons, Tim and Scott Edwards both of Eupora, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Daphne Whitaker, Austin Edwards, Shelby Gilbert, Krista Edwards, Macee Edwards, Bryson Edwards and William Edwards; one great grandchild, Carmen Gilbert; two sisters, Audrey Steadman and Vicki McElroy; one brother, Harvey Stricklin and a host of half-sisters and brothers. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Vester Stricklin and Lonnie Georgia Keeton Stricklin-Sanders and one granddaughter, Taylor Whitaker. Funeral Services for Priscilla will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of Visitation on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 1:00PM until time for Services at 2:00PM at Oliver Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Wood Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Choctaw County, Mississippi. All Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Wood Springs Cemetery. Rev. Chris Barrow will officiate the services. Those serving as Pallbearers are Tim Edwards, Scott Edwards, Billy Murphy, Austin Edwards, Brad Edwards, Andrew Sanders, Billy "Buddy" Kirksey and Tracey Lee Walker.
