Robert "BoBo" Thomas Payton

Robert "BoBo" Thomas Payton age 77 of Eupora, Mississippi passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, Mississippi. Robert was born on November 12, 1948, in Webster County, Mississippi to the late Leonard Paden and Lurine Hunt Paden. He was a retired a factory worker for Futorian Manufacturing and a member of Mt. Union Missionary Baptist Church in Eupora, Mississippi. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting--especially dressing and cooking deer, gardening, quilting and word puzzles. Mr. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Minnie Oats Payton of Eupora, Mississippi; one daughter, Nykida (Kelvin) Brownlee; two sons, Robert "Oscar" Payton and Brian "Bo" (Rachel) Embry both of Eupora, Mississippi; two brothers, Allen (Clara) Suggs of Columbus, Ohio and W.D. Paden of Eupora, Mississippi; goddaughter, Marlene (Greg) Patterson; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, Leonard and Lurine Hunt Paden; one sister, Hazel Pearl Paden and five brothers, Kenny, Roger, Clyde, T.L. and Joe Larry Paden. Funeral Services for Mr. Robert will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Mt. Union Missionary Baptist Church in Eupora, Mississippi. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation and viewing also on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 11:00AM until time for services at 1:00PM at Mt. Union Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow the services at Churchill Cemetery in Eupora, Mississippi. There will be a Repast held following the Committal services at Mt.
