Robert Lee Box

Robert Lee Box, age 69, of Houston, Mississippi, passed away at his residence on Wednesday morning, September 9, 2026. Robert was born on April 26, 1957, to the late Melvin Robert Box and Naomi Thalia Louise Edwards Box. Robert is survived by his wife, Jan Box of Houston, Mississippi; one daughter, Heather (Christopher) Holcomb of Flora, Mississippi; one son, Melvin Lee (April) Box of Mathiston, Mississippi; four grandchildren, Katelee (Jase) Grantham, Ian Box, Alana Childress and Cruz Childress; one sister, Thalia Neal of Brandon, Mississippi and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Robert and Naomi Thalia Louise Edwards Box; one sister, Fran Mendoza and two brothers, Anthony and Thurman Box. Funeral Services for Robert will be held at 12Noon on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of Visitation also on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 11:00AM until time for Services at 12Noon at Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora. Interment will follow at Wood Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Choctaw County, Mississippi. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to be entrusted with all arrangements for the Box family.
