Robert "Robbie" Craig Shaffer, Jr.

Robert "Robbie" Craig Shaffer, Jr., age 55, passed away at his residence in Pass Christian, Mississippi on Friday, September 11, 2026. Robbie was born in Eupora, Mississippi to Robert Craig Shaffer, Sr. and Kathleen Roush Shaffer. He was an Electrician, Welder and Mechanic and served in Maintenance at Babcock and Wilcox in West Point, Mississippi. Robbie enjoyed spending time with his family at family gatherings, spending time with his daughter and son-in-law, flying kites with his sister and also enjoyed skating. Robbie is survived by his parents, Robert Craig, Sr. and Kathleen Roush Shaffer; a daughter, Mary Amber "Miriam" Shaffer (Ahmad) Kara of Champaign, Illinois and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Maria Shaffer Hilton; one niece, Karie Anna Gordon Broadway and one nephew, Hugh Blake Ray. Funeral Services for Robbie will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of Visitation on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 1:00PM until time for Services at 2:00PM at Oliver Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery in Eupora, Mississippi. All Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to be entrusted with all arrangements for the Shaffer family.
