Thalia "Tiny" Rivers Tuck

Thalia "Tiny" Rivers Tuck, age 92, of Mathiston, Mississippi passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Brooklyn Hall Personal Care Home in Mathiston. Tiny was born on April 18, 1934, to the late Howard Rivers and Lillian Stephens Rivers in Hollendale, Mississippi. She was of the Baptist faith and retired as a floor manager for a carpet company in Greenville, Mississippi and later retired again as cook from the riverboat. Tiny was known for her cooking, even working in the High School Cafeteria in Maben and very strong work ethic. She was an independent woman and often known as a "work-a-holic" by all who knew her. Tiny is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Walter) Shuffield of Maben, Mississippi and Pam (David) Miller of Fairhope, Alabama; one son, Terry (Cindy) Tuck of Isola, Mississippi; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, G.B. "Mike" Tuck; son, Barry Martin Tuck; parents, Howard and Lillian Stephens Tuck; six sisters and three brothers. A Memorial Services will be held at a later date by her family. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to be entrusted with all arrangements for the Tuck family.
