Thomas "Bo" Lee Powell

Thomas Lee Powell age 70 of Terry, Mississippi passed away on Friday morning, July 17, 2026, at his residence. Thomas or "Bo" as most have known him, was born on July 12, 1956, in Greenville, Mississippi to the late Lester Powell and Lottie Mae Willis Powell. He was a Parts Clerk and avid player of Pool. Throughout the years he won tournaments in Pool but mostly played for pure enjoyment. He also enjoyed coaching baseball when his son was younger and was sports fan supporting his favorite teams of MSU, the Saints and the Yankees. Most of all his family remembers him by his caring and generous personality caring for many of his own family members while they were sick even keeping them in he and his wife's home. Bo also faithfully served his Country in the United States Army where he received honorable discharge for his service. Bo is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Lottie Mae Willis Powell and brother, Donald "Donnie" Powell. He is survived by his loving wife, Regina Fuqua Powell of Terry, Mississippi; one son, Thomas (Marcie) Powell of Brandon, Mississippi; one granddaughter, Sawyer Powell; two sisters, Beverly (Douglas) Holeman of Morgan City, Mississippi and Paula Hill of Sarah, Mississippi; one brother, Ron (Jamie) Powell of Greenville, Mississippi and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services for Mr. Powell will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, July, 20, 2026, at Reed's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Stewart, Mississippi. Bro. Cody Henderson will officiate the services.
