Trudy Elizabeth Fulgham Shoemaker

Trudy Elizabeth Fulgham Shoemaker, age 68, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday evening August 11, 2026, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Trudy was born on August 2, 1958, in Greenville, Mississippi to the late Gerald Eugene Fulgham and Elizabeth Lee Golden Fulgham. After High School, Trudy received her bachelor's degree in accounting and worked in her profession for thirty-four years. Trudy was a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Brandon, Mississippi. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, watching television and reading. Those who have preceded Trudy in death are both of her parents, Gerald Eugene and Elizabeth Lee Golden Fulgham; her husband of twenty years, Jimmy Shoemaker; one brother, Todd Fulgham and brother-in-law, J.B. Shoemaker. She is survived by her children, Jayme (Trevor Different) Shoemaker of Pearl, Mississippi and Jeremy (Irene Torres) Shoemaker of Brandon, Mississippi; one brother, Tracy (Jo) Fulgham; two sister-in-laws, Cathy Johnson Fulgham and Brenda Shoemaker; a special niece, Lisa Beth Fulgham and a host of cousins, extended family and friends. Funeral Services for Trudy will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation also on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 1:00PM until time for services at 2:00PM at Oliver Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lollars Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Eupora, Mississippi. The Graveside/Committal Services will all be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Lollars Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Willy Weddle will officiate the services.
